[4/18/2004] Weekend Wrap Up and Looking Forward

What a smokin' show at Plush Saturday! The Stellas warmed it up, and we jumped up there and rocked the house! So good to see all you familiar faces, and new ones as well. Please spread the Ozlo Love and bring someone new to the next show!

Look out for Ozlo merchandise coming soon. If anyone has any merchandise requests or ideas, please e-mail and let me know, the more ideas the better. I'm thinkin' t-shirts, baby-t's for the ladies, girls shorts w/ OZLO on butt!! Also hats, beer coozies and lighters to name a few. But what about a frisbee? Or a kangaroo!? Yeah! A LIVE kangaroo!!!

Monday night we jam with D for our first rehearsal. If we get a bit on tape we'll share a little with you so come back and check it out!

Everybody have a good week coming up here, and don't forget to come out this Wednesday, April 21 to Plush at 4th Ave. and 6th St. and see me play duo with long time local favorite and long time friend Matt Mitchell. NO COVER!!! 9:30pm-11:30pm. Come out and here some jazz and some other wacky stuff! You know how Matt and I like to do it. Start out sweet and end...well sometimes pretty sour! All in good fun! [4/16/2004] Hello my good friends!

Hope that all is well with you. Last night we had a great time at Vaudeville with Gary Bear and Danny, and George Squier Orchestra closing out the night. Very cool.

Saturday night we look forward to rockin' out for ya at Plush, where evidently there's NO COVER!!!! That's right folks, so come down and check out this great free show at a kick ass club with The Stellas kickin' it off first, me and the boys are on around 10:30pm, and then Annie Hawkins will close out the night!

But before you go down to Plush on Saturday night, stop in at Vaudeville if you are gonna be a part of the Club Crawl. I will be playing solo for 20minutes, at 8:30pm. Vaudeville is on Congress and Scott next to The Grill...(don't forget to ask for cheese on your tator tots, and tell 'em Ozlo sent ya!!)

We have a new bass player, Demetri Enriquez who has played with such great local bands as Funky Bonz and Spacefish just to name a couple. He's a great addition, and look forward to funkin' it up a bit. See you at the show...and ask me for a DVD from the Sex Night III Show! Only 20 bucks!

[3/29/2004] Hey Everybody!

Ozlo here. Hope all is well with you. As you can see we are looking for a bass player, only serious inquiries apply. We have a few shows coming up in April so we hope to see you all out there! If you aren't signed up for the mailing list please do so while you are here. This way we can remind you when we are playing.

I am also offering lessons in voice, piano, trombone, euphonium, and beginning guitar. If interested in lessons give me an email.

And, I am also offering myself up as a muse. If you need inspiration or positivity in your life, give an email and we can work it out. No kidding.

As the band is built the cd will soon be done, but until then we have recordings you can check out at the songs section and click onto Doug's website and check out the really rough rehearsal!
